Roof module/ventilation chamber

The roof/ventilation chamber works like an extractor. It is one of the key parts of the ventilation/temperature/humidity regulation system of the ecological hive. This system allows to have a stable temperature for the brood but also for the whole hive (36°C), and this, with an optimal humidity to meet the needs of the bees.

• Northern red pine.

• Stainless steel screws.

• Dibon roof (3mm rigid panel made of white lacquered aluminium alloy sheet with black polyethylene), 500 x 500 x 12 mm.

• Insulated from the inside with an expanded polystyrene plate.

• Extraction hole on each side.

• The framing slats facilitate and ensure the fitting onto the insulating cushion module.

• Silicone seals above each framing slat and on the roof screws to prevent possible water infiltration.
